After the trades

With this series, I seek to tell the story of what remains of the textile industry in the North: buildings and neighborhoods,
but above all, faces and memories. I photograph the men and women who worked in these factories,
as well as the sites that are now silent or have been repurposed.
The project lies at the intersection of social documentary and personal narrative. It is not about freezing the past, but rather
showing how this history continues to run through the present. Portraits and industrial landscapes engage in a dialogue
to create a memory that is fragmented, human, and sometimes contradictory.
"After the Trade" is conceived as a long-term photographic narrative, intended to take the form
of an exhibition, a book, or a publication where images and words speak to one another.
